My name is Ciara Heneghan
Our lives are a series of epic experiences, whether they are bad or good. And each experience is a story in the making.
Success is all about having an idea, taking an action, trusting the path will come up to meet you, and not overthinking. Heck, sometimes not thinking at all is the best course of action because ... let's be real, thinking can really get in the way of action. Anyone say - 'analysis paralysis'?!
But there is something about success that people forget ALL. THE. TIME. Success requires support, and the best way to get support is within like minded community.
What happens when you put epic stories together with support? You get creation success and dreams to reality awesomeness.
I love the saying 'If you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far, go together'. I know that when you are in a space where people lift each other up on purpose, everyone will go far fast.
I have written and published 7 books so far, have been published in some pretty cool poetry journals around the world, am in the middle of writing a play with my sister, and run a magazine. Writing is in my blood, and I have been writing since I was 9 years old, and doing it without following everyone else's rules is the way I like to do it most.
I did some of it alone, and it was kinda lonely at times. I do love my own company though so doing it alone is often just the norm, but when I have chosen to do it with a community, with support, with people who want to see me succeed in the same way I do for them, that's some quantum leap stuff without a doubt.
This is why I created:

When Ciara asked me to write a chapter for The Mother Ship, my first response was ‘but I’m not a writer’. In her inimitable way she instils a belief system that nothing is outside your remit.
She has a true gift for drawing out the self belief that I am the creator of anything I choose to achieve.
By creating The Mother Ship forum she encouraged this group of mums to support each other like a mother encourages her children to have each others backs.

I stood at the threshold, unsure where to start,
A story within me, yet lost in the dark.
The weight of the words, the fear of the page,
Daunted, uncertain, trapped
in my cage.

No nonsense, no fluff,

Through my doubts like a

We walked the ethos, lived what we wrote,
The School of Hard Knocks, a truth we promote.
